1. Who we are and what these terms cover

This website and the Larp Mod Minecraft mod (together, the "Service") are made and run by temupookie ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you visit the website, or buy, download or use the mod. By doing any of these, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has read these Terms and agrees to them for you.

2. Your license to use the mod

When you buy Larp Mod, and as long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the mod on your own computers, in your own copies of Minecraft: Java Edition. You are buying a license to use the mod, not the mod itself. We can end the license if you break these Terms.

You may not:

• give, share, sell, rent or lend the mod or your purchase to anyone else, or include it in another product;
• upload the mod's files anywhere (including mod sites, Discord servers and file-sharing sites);
• decompile, reverse-engineer or change the mod, or try to get around the way it is protected, except where the law allows it even though these Terms say otherwise;
• remove or change any credits or notices in the mod or on this website;
• claim that you made the mod, or that we work with you or support you when we don't.

You may make and share videos, screenshots and streams that show the mod, including ones you earn money from.

2a. Buying and refunds

Payments. Our checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller ("merchant of record") for your order. It takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and emails you the download. Its buyer terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. We never see your full card or bank details. Prices are shown before you pay.

What you get. One purchase includes the mod for every Minecraft version listed on the website when you buy, and updates we release for those versions. We don't promise to support future Minecraft versions, though we try to.

Refunds. All sales are final. We may give a refund in special cases at our choice. If you get a refund or reverse a payment, your license ends and you must delete the mod. Nothing here takes away refund rights you have under the law where you live.

For buyers in the EU and UK. The mod is digital content delivered right away. By downloading it straight after buying, you ask for immediate delivery and understand that this can end your legal right to cancel within 14 days.

3. Using disguises responsibly

Larp Mod changes how names, skins, capes and players look on your own screen only. It is made for fun, screenshots and videos. You agree not to use the Service, or anything you make with it, to:

• scam, trick or mislead anyone, for example by pretending to be a real person in screenshots or videos to get money, items, accounts or personal information;
• harass, bully, threaten or embarrass anyone, or make it look like a real person said or did something they didn't;
• break the rules of any server, Minecraft's terms, or any law.

You are responsible for what you make and share. If you show a disguised player in a video or screenshot, we encourage you to make it clear that it's edited.

4. Servers and Minecraft

Larp Mod does not send your disguises to servers, but some servers don't allow any client mods. Check each server's rules before you play. We are not responsible if a server kicks or bans you.

Larp Mod is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. Your use of Minecraft is governed by Mojang's and Microsoft's own terms, including the Minecraft End User License Agreement.

5. Ownership

We own the Larp Mod name, code, website and design, except for things owned by others. Minecraft, and the official cape and skin designs shown in the mod, belong to Mojang, Microsoft or their creators. These Terms don't give you ownership of anything. All rights not given to you here are kept.

Feedback. If you send us ideas or bug reports, we may use them freely, without paying or crediting you.

6. Other services

The mod and website use or link to services we don't control, including Mojang's player services, capes.me, Fabric, Modrinth and Discord. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for them. To learn what the mod sends to these services, read our Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the Service. It is part of these Terms.

8. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE MAKE NO PROMISES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER STATED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THAT THE SERVICE WILL WORK, BE ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, BE FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NOT HARM YOUR GAME, WORLDS, SETTINGS OR COMPUTER. BACK UP YOUR WORLDS AND FILES. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limits on our responsibility

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW: (A) WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST DATA, LOST WORLDS, BANS, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CONNECTED TO THE SERVICE; AND (B) OUR TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY CLAIM CONNECTED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF US$50 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE MOD. SOME PLACES DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT ALL APPLY TO YOU.

10. If you break these Terms

You agree to be responsible for, and to cover our reasonable costs from, claims made against us because you broke these Terms or the law while using the Service. We may stop you from using the Service at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you broke these Terms. If that happens, you must stop using the mod and delete it. Sections 2 to 12 continue to apply after that.

11. Changes

We may change the Service, stop offering it, or update these Terms at any time. When we update these Terms, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.

12. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms to someone else; we may. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can't be signed away.
